Spring Valley Grizzlies (Las Vegas, NV) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Las Vegas Wildcats (Las Vegas, NV), 50-48 in a league match.

With the victory, Spring Valley upgrades its record to 10-5 on the year. The Grizzlies host Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV) to face the Jaguars in a 5A Southern match on Friday, January 10. The Jaguars enter the match with a record of 4-6. Desert Pines lost 77-56 in their recent league match against Mojave (North Las Vegas, NV)

The Wildcats now sport a 6-10 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mojave for a 5A Southern match on Saturday, January 11. Las Vegas will face a Rattlers squad coming off a 77-56 league win over Desert Pines (Las Vegas, NV). The Rattlers record now stands at 10-5.
