Spectators at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Springfield Bulldogs (Springfield, LA) and the host Loranger Wolves (Loranger, LA), saw Springfield's basketball team nip Loranger by a tally of 39-37.

The Bulldogs now possess a 10-7 record. They play next when they host Central Private for a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. Springfield will play a Redhawks team coming off a 74-4 non-league win over Louisiana School for the Deaf (Baton Rouge, LA). The Redhawks record now stands at 12-7.

With the loss, Loranger falls to 8-18 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Mandeville (Mandeville, LA) to play the Skippers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 10. The Skippers go into the bout with a record of 15-12. Mandeville lost 63-59 in their recent league bout against Covington (Covington, LA)
