The Raymond Rams nipped the host Newport Tigers basketball squad by a final score of 69-65 in Wednesday's league outing.
Next, the Rams clash with the Kearsarge Cougars (North Sutton, NH) in a Division III outing, on Friday, January 10. Raymond will attempt to upgrade on its 7-1 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 6-0 record after their 67-56 league win over Mascoma (Canaan, NH).
The Tigers (4-2) will now prepare for their outing against Monadnock (East Swanzey, NH). The Huskies enter the Division III outing with a 4-3 record. In their last outing, Monadnock got by Stevens (Claremont, NH), 51-41, in a league outing.
