The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) and the visiting Orange Panthers (Orange, CA), observed Segerstrom's basketball team overwhelm Orange by a score of 60-33.

The Jaguars (9-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Katella (Anaheim, CA). The Knights come into the Orange Coast challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Katella trounced Garden Grove (Garden Grove, CA), 63-61, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Panthers battle the Western Pioneers (Anaheim, CA) in a Grove challenge, on Friday, January 10. Orange will attempt to improve on its 1-19 season record. The Pioneers come into the challenge with a 6-13 record after their 78-52 league win over Santa Ana Valley (Santa Ana, CA).
