Georgia High School Basketball - Social Circle thwarts Redan

The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Social Circle Redskins (Social Circle, GA) and the visiting Redan Raiders (Stone Mountain, GA), observed Social Circle's basketball team knock off Redan by a score of 66-48.
The Redskins (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Southwest Atlanta Christian (Atlanta, GA). The Warriors come into the A D1 Region 4 challenge with a 3-12 record. In their last challenge, Southwest Atlanta Christian dropped by Jasper County (Monticello, GA), 51-48, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Raiders encounter the South Atlanta Hornets (Atlanta, GA) in a AA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 10. Redan will attempt to improve on its 1-9 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 9-5 record after their 67-55 non-league loss to Habersham Central (Mt. Airy, GA).
