Pennsylvania High School Basketball - St. Joseph's Prep holds off Roman Catholic

The St. Joseph's Prep Hawks basketball team scored 40 points and limited the host Roman Catholic Cahillite to 38 in the Hawks league triumph on Wednesday.

The Hawks now possess a 7-4 record. They play next when they travel to Cardinal O'Hara for a Philadelphia Catholic game on Friday, January 10. St. Joseph's Prep will confront a Lions team coming off a 63-46 league win over Lansdale Catholic (Lansdale, PA). The Lions record now stands at 10-2.

With the loss, Roman Catholic falls to 8-3 on the campaign. The Cahillite host West Catholic (Philadelphia, PA) to confront the Burrs in a Philadelphia Catholic game on Friday, January 10. The Burrs go into the game with a record of 4-7. West Catholic won 84-54 in their recent league game against Conwell-Egan Catholic (Fairless Hills, PA)
