California High School Basketball - Samueli Academy can't get by Vistamar

The Samueli Academy Firewolves basketball squad (Santa Ana, CA), was tipped 57-50 in Wednesday's non-league challenge with the visiting Vistamar Vikings (El Segundo, CA)

The Vikings (9-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Lennox Academy (Lennox, CA). The Panthers come into the Coastal challenge with a 2-9 record. In their last challenge, Lennox Academy was tipped by Hawthorne Math & Science Academy (Hawthorne, CA), 66-29, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Firewolves encounter the Newport Christian Seahawks (Newport Beach, CA) in a Express challenge, on Friday, January 10. Samueli Academy will attempt to improve on its 6-8 season record. The Seahawks come into the challenge with a 7-1 record after their 62-35 league win over Acaciawood (Anaheim, CA).
