    In Wednesday's league contest, the host Weston Trojans basketball team scored a good 55-41 triumph over the Stratford Red Devils.

    The Trojans (5-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kolbe-Cathedral (Bridgeport, CT). The Cougars go into the Southwest contest with a 5-1 record. In their last contest, Kolbe-Cathedral topped Brookfield (Brookfield, CT), 58-41, in a league contest.

    In their next game, the Red Devils battle the Notre Dame Prep Lancers (Fairfield, CT) in a Southwest contest, on Friday, January 10. Stratford will attempt to better on its 1-4 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 6-2 record after their 70-67 league win over Bunnell (Stratford, CT).
