The Chariho Chargers (Wood River Junction, RI) basketball crushed the visiting Classical Purple (Providence, RI), 55-33 in Wednesday's league bout.
The Chargers now possess a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to St. Raphael Academy for a Division I bout on Tuesday, January 14. Chariho will play a Saints team coming off a 51-44 non-league win over Cumberland (Cumberland, RI). The Saints record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Classical falls to 0-7 on the campaign. The Purple travel to Cranston West (Cranston, RI) to play the Falcons in a Division I bout on Friday, January 10. The Falcons go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Cranston West won 64-56 in their recent league bout against West Warwick (West Warwick, RI)
