Indiana High School Basketball - Churubusco can't hold off Manchester

Manchester Squires (North Manchester, IN) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Churubusco Eagles (Churubusco, IN), 48-43 in a non-league match.

With the victory, Manchester upgrades its record to 6-10 on the year. The Squires host Mississinewa (Gas City, IN) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Friday, January 10. The Indians enter the match with a record of 6-9. Mississinewa won 41-20 in their recent non-league match against Tipton (Tipton, IN)

The Eagles now sport a 5-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fremont for a Northeast Corner match on Friday, January 10. Churubusco will face a Eagles squad coming off a 52-43 league loss to Angola (Angola, IN). The Eagles record now stands at 11-5.
