East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] (Tarkio, MO) supporters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Union Star Trojans (Union Star, MO), 56-21 in a league match.

With the victory, East Atchison [Tarkio/Fairfax] advances its record to 4-6 on the year. The travel to Essex (Essex, IA) to face the Trojans in a non-league match on Thursday, January 9. The Trojans enter the match with a record of 0-8.

The Trojans now own a 0-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mound City for a non-league match on Friday, January 10. Union Star will face a Panthers squad coming off a 71-27 non-league win over South Holt (Oregon, MO). The Panthers record now stands at 7-3.
