The Maspeth Argos basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host Grover Cleveland Presidents to 31 in the Argos non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Argos now have a 5-3 record. They play next when they travel to Bryant for a PSAL 3A Queens II game on Monday, January 13. Maspeth will confront a Owls team coming off a 33-17 league win over Middle College (Queens, NY). The Owls record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Grover Cleveland falls to 4-4 on the campaign. The Presidents host Newcomers (Queens, NY) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Wednesday, January 15. The Lions go into the game with a record of 6-3.
