The San Tan Charter Roadrunners basketball squad (Gilbert, AZ), was nudged 34-27 in Wednesday's non-league battle with the visiting Heritage Academy Heroes (Laveen, AZ)
With the victory, Heritage Academy advances its record to 1-8 on the year. The Heroes travel to Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ) to meet the Dust Devils in a 2A Valley battle on Friday, January 10. The Dust Devils enter the battle with a record of 2-6. Santa Cruz Valley lost 46-17 in their recent non-league battle against Lincoln Prep (Chandler, AZ)
The Roadrunners now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Fountain Hills for a non-league battle on Thursday, January 9. San Tan Charter will meet a Falcons squad coming off a 47-12 non-league win over Odyssey Institute (Buckeye, AZ). The Falcons record now stands at 10-5.
