In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host Kewanee Boilermakers basketball team scored a good 47-30 triumph over the Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] Spartans.
The Boilermakers (11-7) will now prepare for their contest against Mendota (Mendota, IL). The Trojans go into the Three Rivers - East contest with a 3-13 record. In their last contest, Mendota was toppled by Erie-Prophetstown (Erie, IL), 27-19, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Spartans confront the Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Ridgewood [AlWood/Cambridge] will attempt to better on its 8-7 season record. The Titans go into the contest with a 13-5 record after their 41-26 league win over Rockridge (Taylor Ridge, IL).
