The San Marin Mustangs soccer squad scored 2 points and held the host Piner Prospectors to 1 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Wednesday.

The Mustangs now hold a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Tamalpais for a Marin County contest on Saturday, January 11. San Marin will face a Red Tailed Hawks team coming off a 3-2 non-league win over Maria Carrillo (Santa Rosa, CA). The Red Tailed Hawks record now stands at 5-2.

The Prospectors (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Windsor (Windsor, CA). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 0-2 record. In their last contest, Windsor was nipped by San Marin (Novato, CA), 4-2, in a non-league contest.
