Massachusetts High School Ice Hockey - St. George's holds off Phillips Academy

In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting St. George's Dragons ice hockey team scored a close 5-4 victory over the Phillips Academy Big Blue.
The Dragons (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Pomfret School (Pomfret, CT). The Griffins go into the non-league contest with a 8-4 record. In their last contest, Pomfret School edged Northfield Mount Hermon (Mount Hermon, MA), 7-3, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Big Blue play the Choate Rosemary Hall School Wild Boars (Wallingford, CT) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 11. Phillips Academy will attempt to better on its 7-2 season record. The Wild Boars go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Lawrenceville School (Lawrenceville, NJ).
