The Somerset Eagles basketball team scored 44 points and limited the visiting Bishop McCort Crushers to 35 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now have a 1-0 record. They play next when they travel to Greater Johnstown for a non-league game on Friday, January 10.
With the loss, Bishop McCort falls to 4-5 on the campaign. The Crushers travel to Chestnut Ridge (New Paris, PA) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Monday, January 13. The Lions go into the game with a record of 0-0.
