In Wednesday's non-league contest, the host South Central Falcons basketball team scored a big 56-33 win over the North Pitt Panthers.
The Falcons (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Jacksonville (Jacksonville, NC). The Cardinals come into the contest with a 4-4 record. In their last contest, Jacksonville smashed D.H. Conley (Greenville, NC), 54-48, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Panthers battle the Washington Pam Pack (Washington, NC) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 9. North Pitt will attempt to better on its 2-5 season record. The Pam Pack come into the contest with a 4-3 record after their 65-47 non-league loss to Greene Central (Snow Hill, NC).
