The Pioneers go into the outing with a record of 10-0. Pinnacle won 4-2 in their recent non-league outing against Desert Mountain (Scottsdale, AZ)

Next up, the Firebirds confront the Desert Mountain Wolves (Scottsdale, AZ) in a 5A Northeast Valley outing, on Friday, January 10. Chaparral will attempt to advance on its 2-5 season record.
