Fans at Wednesday's non-league battle between the Red Bluff Spartans (Red Bluff, CA) and the visiting Yreka Miners (Yreka, CA), saw Red Bluff's soccer squad hold off Yreka by a count of 1-0.

The Spartans (10-5) will now prepare for their battle against Enterprise (Redding, CA). The Hornets enter the Eastern Athletic battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Enterprise was edged by University Prep (Redding, CA), 2-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Miners battle the Shasta Wolves (Redding, CA) in a non-league battle, on Friday, January 10. Yreka will attempt to upgrade on its 4-3 season record. The Wolves enter the battle with a 5-2 record after their 5-0 non-league win over West Valley (Cottonwood, CA).
