Dassel-Cokato Chargers (Cokato, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City Falcons (Grove City, MN), 80-65 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Dassel-Cokato upgrades its record to 7-2 on the season. The Chargers travel to Glencoe-Silver Lake (Glencoe, MN) to play the Panthers in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-5. Glencoe-Silver Lake lost 90-79 in their recent non-league bout against Hutchinson (Hutchinson, MN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa Jaguars (Belgrade, MN) in a A Section 6 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City will attempt to upgrade on its 2-5 season record.
