The Bethesda-Chevy Chase Barons (Bethesda, MD) basketball nipped the visiting Wootton Patriots (Rockville, MD), 42-35 in Monday's league test.
The Barons (6-3) will now prepare for their test against Einstein (Kensington, MD). The Titans go into the non-league test with a 3-6 record. In their last test, Einstein was tipped by Blake (Silver Spring, MD), 61-47, in a league test.
The Patriots now own a 4-3 record. They play next when they host Magruder for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 11. Wootton will encounter a Colonels squad coming off a 74-48 non-league win over Kennedy (Silver Spring, MD). The Colonels record now stands at 6-3.
