Bishop Kelly Knights (Boise, ID) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Kuna Kavemen (Kuna, ID), 58-53 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Bishop Kelly upgrades its record to 4-7 on the campaign. The Knights host Caldwell (Caldwell, ID) to play the Cougars in a 4A Southern Idaho bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Cougars come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Caldwell lost 55-45 in their recent non-league bout against Wood River (Hailey, ID)
Next up, the Kavemen play the Borah Lions (Boise, ID) in a 5A Southern Idaho bout, on Thursday, January 12. Kuna will attempt to upgrade on its 4-6 season record. The Lions come into the bout with a 5-6 record after their 77-56 league loss to Capital (Boise, ID).
