Milbank Bulldogs (Milbank, SD) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Britton-Hecla Braves (Britton, SD), 67-33 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Milbank upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Bulldogs travel to Redfield (Redfield, SD) to clash with the Pheasants in a A Region 1 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Pheasants go into the bout with a record of 5-2. Redfield lost 51-46 in their recent non-league bout against Miller (Miller, SD)

Next up, the Braves clash with the Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD) in a B Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Britton-Hecla will attempt to upgrade on its 0-5 season record. The Wolves go into the bout with a 0-5 record after their 71-30 non-league loss to Florence/Henry (Florence, SD).
