Connecticut High School Basketball - Pomperaug can't hold off Bunnell

The Bunnell Bulldogs basketball team scored 58 points and restricted the visiting Pomperaug Panthers to 53 in the Bulldogs league victory on Monday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 5-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kolbe-Cathedral for a Southwest contest on Thursday, January 12. Bunnell will battle a Cougars team coming off a 62-25 league win over New Milford (New Milford, CT). The Cougars record now stands at 6-1.
The Panthers (1-5) will now prepare for their contest against Notre Dame Catholic (Fairfield, CT). The Lancers come into the Southwest contest with a 5-2 record. In their last contest, Notre Dame Catholic edged Immaculate (Danbury, CT), 72-57, in a league contest.
