In Monday's non-league outing, the Castle Park Trojans (Chula Vista, CA) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Ocean View Christian Patriots (San Diego, CA), by a margin of 61-22.

The Trojans (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against Sweetwater (National City, CA). The Red Devils go into the South Bay outing with a 3-13 record. In their last outing, Sweetwater was trounced by Victory Christian Academy (Chula Vista, CA), 84-44, in a league outing.

The Patriots now own a 4-5 record. They play next when they host Liberty Charter for a non-league outing on Thursday, January 12. Ocean View Christian will clash with a Lions squad coming off a 59-34 non-league loss to O'Farrell Charter (San Diego, CA). The Lions record now stands at 5-5.
