In their next game, the Purples face the Central Knights (Providence, RI) in a State Championship game, on Wednesday, January 11. Classical will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Knights enter the game with a 7-0 record after their 79-69 non-league win over Juanita Sanchez Complex (Providence, RI).

With the defeat, Mt. Pleasant moves to 2-3 on the year. The Kilties travel to Woonsocket (Woonsocket, RI) to face the Villa Novans in a State Championship game on Wednesday, January 11. The Villa Novans enter the game with a record of 3-6. Woonsocket lost 45-25 in their recent league game against Smithfield (Esmond, RI)
