The Northwood Gators (Lena, LA) basketball crushed the host Holy Savior Menard Eagles (Alexandria, LA), 68-40 in Monday's non-league test.
The Gators (18-3) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery (Montgomery, LA). The Tigers go into the 1A District 3 test with a 1-6 record. In their last test, Montgomery walloped Grant (Dry Prong, LA), 58-52, in a non-league test.
The Eagles now own a 8-12 record. They play next when they host Pickering for a 2A District 4 test on Tuesday, January 10. Holy Savior Menard will encounter a Red Devils squad coming off a 75-46 non-league win over Leesville (Leesville, LA). The Red Devils record now stands at 11-7.
