Washington High School Basketball - Kent-Meridian thwarts Interlake

The Kent-Meridian Royals (Kent, WA) basketball knocked off the visiting Interlake Saints (Bellevue, WA), 71-60 in Monday's non-league test.
The Royals (9-2) will now prepare for their test against Kentwood (Covington, WA). The Conquerors go into the 3A/4A North Puget Sound test with a 5-4 record. In their last test, Kentwood notched a victory over Jefferson (Auburn, WA), 69-51, in a league test.
The Saints now own a 2-7 record. They play next when they host Sammamish for a non-league test on Wednesday, January 11. Interlake will encounter a RedHawks squad coming off a 61-58 league loss to Renton (Renton, WA). The RedHawks record now stands at 5-3.
