The Isle of Wight Academy Chargers topped the visiting Suffolk Christian Academy Knights basketball team by a final score of 89-73 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Chargers face the Walsingham Academy Trojans (Williamsburg, VA) in a non-league game, on Friday, January 13. Isle of Wight Academy will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record.
With the defeat, Suffolk Christian Academy moves to 2-8 on the year. The Knights travel to New Life Academy (Elizabeth City, NC) to face the Bobcats in a North Carolina Christian - North game on Thursday, January 12. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 4-10. New Life Academy lost 74-59 in their recent league game against Bethel Assembly Christian Academy (Windsor, NC)
