Johnston Panthers (Johnston, RI) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Times Squared Academy Eagles (Providence, RI), 84-32 in a league bout.

With the win, Johnston upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Panthers travel to Tolman (Pawtucket, RI) to clash with the Tigers in a Division 2 bout on Friday, January 13. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 5-6. Tolman lost 54-42 in their recent league bout against Rogers (Newport, RI)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Mt. Hope Huskies (Bristol, RI) in a Division 2 bout, on Thursday, January 12. Times Squared Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-8 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 56-42 league loss to Tiverton (Tiverton, RI).
