New Hampton Chickasaws (New Hampton, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Kee Kee Hawks (Lansing, IA), 62-58 in a non-league bout.

With the win, New Hampton upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Chickasaws travel to Waverly-Shell Rock (Waverly, IA) to play the Go-Hawks in a Northeast Iowa bout on Friday, January 13. The Go-Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-3. Waverly-Shell Rock won 88-41 in their recent league bout against Waukon (Waukon, IA)

Next up, the Kee Hawks play the MFL MarMac Bulldogs (Monona, IA) in a Upper Iowa bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Kee will attempt to upgrade on its 2-7 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 9-2 record after their 64-50 non-league loss to Decorah-North Winneshiek (Decorah, IA).
