Northwest Webster Cougars (Manson, IA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Paton-Churdan Rockets (Churdan, IA), 88-27 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Northwest Webster upgrades its record to 4-3 on the season. The Cougars host Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA) to clash with the E'Hawks in a non-league bout on Friday, January 13. The E'Hawks go into the bout with a record of 6-3.

Next up, the Rockets clash with the Boyer Valley Bulldogs (Dunlap, IA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Paton-Churdan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-4 season record.
