Connecticut High School Basketball - Norwich Free Academy nipped by Waterbury Career Academy

The Waterbury Career Academy Spartans tipped the visiting Norwich Free Academy Wildcats basketball team by a final score of 89-85 in Monday's non-league game.

In their next game, the Spartans face the Crosby Bulldogs (Waterbury, CT) in a Naugatuck Valley - Brass game, on Friday, January 20. Waterbury Career Academy will attempt to move on its 7-1 season record.

With the defeat, Norwich Free Academy moves to 3-4 on the year. The Wildcats host Killingly (Killingly, CT) to face the Redmen in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 10. The Redmen enter the game with a record of 5-1. Killingly won 64-37 in their recent non-league game against Plainfield (Central Village, CT)
