The Randolph Rockets basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Waterloo Pirates to 44 in the Rockets non-league triumph on Monday.
The Rockets now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Markesan for a Trailways - West contest on Tuesday, January 10. Randolph will meet a Hornets team coming off a 64-51 league loss to Green Lake/Princeton (Green Lake, WI). The Hornets record now stands at 5-5.
The Pirates (2-9) will now prepare for their contest against Wisconsin Heights (Mazomanie, WI). The Vanguards enter the Capitol - South contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Wisconsin Heights was outscored by Belleville (Belleville, WI), 79-43, in a league contest.
