Maryland High School Basketball - Wheaton ripped by Sherwood

The Sherwood Warriors basketball team scored 58 points and held the visiting Wheaton Knights to 17 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Monday.
The Warriors now sport a 8-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Northwood for a Montgomery 4A East contest on Wednesday, January 11. Sherwood will battle a Gladiators team coming off a 66-61 league loss to Paint Branch (Burtonsville, MD). The Gladiators record now stands at 4-5.
The Knights (3-6) will now prepare for their contest against Blake (Silver Spring, MD). The Bengals enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Blake triumphed over Einstein (Kensington, MD), 61-47, in a league contest.
