New Jersey High School Basketball - St. Benedict's Prep thwarts St. Joseph

The St. Benedict's Prep Gray Bees (Newark, NJ) basketball knocked off the visiting St. Joseph Falcons (Metuchen, NJ), 76-65 in Monday's league test.
The Gray Bees (11-2) will now prepare for their test against First Love Christian Academy (Washington, PA). The go into the Heartland III test with a 3-3 record. In their last test, First Love Christian Academy went down by Devon Prep (Devon, PA), 69-56, in a non-league test.
The Falcons now own a 5-2 record. They play next when they travel to East Brunswick for a Greater Middlesex - Red test on Tuesday, January 10. St. Joseph will encounter a Bears squad coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Edison (Edison, NJ). The Bears record now stands at 5-10.
