Colorado High School Basketball - The Academy fells Timnath

The Academy Wildcats (Westminster, CO) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Timnath Cubs (Timnath, CO), 36-20 in a non-league bout.
With the win, The Academy upgrades its record to 2-1 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Stargate School (Thornton, CO) to clash with the Eagles in a bout on Wednesday, January 18. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 2-3.
Next up, the Cubs clash with the Valley Vikings (Gilcrest, CO) in a bout, on Friday, January 13. Timnath will attempt to upgrade on its 1-4 season record. The Vikings go into the bout with a 1-2 record after their 34-14 non-league win over Frontier Academy (Greeley, CO).
