The Mt. Carmel Cubs basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the host Carver Collegiate Academy Rams to 29 in the Cubs non-league victory on Monday.

The Cubs now sport a 14-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Denham Springs for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. Mt. Carmel will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 60-43 non-league win over Fontainebleau (Mandeville, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 17-2.

The Rams (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Benjamin Franklin (New Orleans, LA). The Falcons come into the 4A District 11 contest with a 13-4 record.
