Moravian Academy Lions (Bethlehem, PA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Catasauqua Rough Riders (Catasauqua, PA), 42-30 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Moravian Academy upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Lions travel to Palmerton (Palmerton, PA) to clash with the Blue Bombers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Blue Bombers go into the bout with a record of 4-1. Palmerton won 49-11 in their recent non-league bout against Palisades (Kintnersville, PA)

Next up, the Rough Riders clash with the Saucon Valley Panthers (Hellertown, PA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 12. Catasauqua will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 39-30 non-league loss to Southern Lehigh (Center Valley, PA).
