Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Kenton Wildcats (Kenton, OH), 63-55 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Columbian upgrades its record to 4-7 on the season. The Tornadoes travel to Wynford (Bucyrus, OH) to clash with the Royals in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 12. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 6-5. Wynford lost 41-36 in their recent league bout against Upper Sandusky (Upper Sandusky, OH)

Next up, the Wildcats clash with the Defiance Bulldogs (Defiance, OH) in a Western Buckeye bout, on Thursday, January 12. Kenton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-9 season record. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a 1-10 record after their 54-33 league loss to Shawnee (Lima, OH).
