In Monday's non-league outing, the Mitchell Tigers (Memphis, TN) basketball squad beat the host Fairley Bulldogs (Memphis, TN), by a margin of 50-34.
The Tigers (4-7) will now prepare for their outing against KIPP Collegiate (Memphis, TN). The phoenix go into the 2A District 15 outing with a 1-6 record. In their last outing, KIPP Collegiate was topped by Freedom Prep Academy (Memphis, TN), 25-22, in a league outing.
The Bulldogs now own a 4-9 record. They play next when they travel to Hillcrest for a 2A District 16 outing on Friday, January 13. Fairley will clash with a Vikings squad coming off a 51-38 league win over Power Center Academy (Memphis, TN). The Vikings record now stands at 6-4.
