The Florence/Henry Falcons basketball team scored 71 points and held the visiting Waubay/Summit Mustangs to 24 in the Falcons non-league triumph on Monday.
The Falcons now sport a 6-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warner for a non-league contest on Friday, January 13. Florence/Henry will battle a Monarchs team coming off a 59-20 league win over Hitchcock-Tulare (Hitchcock, SD). The Monarchs record now stands at 6-1.
The Mustangs (3-3) will now prepare for their contest against Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] (Rosholt, SD). The Tigers enter the non-league contest with a 2-4 record. In their last contest, Tri-State co-op [Rosholt/Fairmount/Campbell-Tintah] triumphed over Oak Grove Lutheran (Fargo, ND), 66-59, in a league contest.
