Holdingford Huskers (Holdingford, MN) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Foley Falcons (Foley, MN), 49-37 in a league bout.

With the win, Holdingford upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Huskers host Eden Valley-Watkins (Eden Valley, MN) to play the Eagles in a AA Section 6 bout on Thursday, January 12. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Eden Valley-Watkins won 55-33 in their recent non-league bout against Maple Lake (Maple Lake, MN)

Next up, the Falcons play the Little Falls Flyers (Little Falls, MN) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 10. Foley will attempt to upgrade on its 3-5 season record. The Flyers go into the bout with a 1-7 record after their 44-43 non-league loss to North Branch (North Branch, MN).
