The Eagles come into the challenge with a record of 5-7. Civic Memorial lost 65-58 in their recent league challenge against Mascoutah (Mascoutah, IL)

Next up, the Miners play the Vandalia Vandals (Vandalia, IL) in a South Central challenge, on Thursday, January 12. Gillespie will attempt to improve on its 11-9 season record. The Vandals come into the challenge with a 13-6 record after their 68-29 non-league win over Farina South Central (Farina, IL).
