Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Haddon Township Hawks (Westmont, NJ) and the visiting Gloucester City Lions (Gloucester City, NJ), saw Haddon Township's basketball squad overcome Gloucester City by a tally of 33-14.

With the victory, Haddon Township improves its record to 8-2 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Gateway Regional (Woodbury Heights, NJ) to confront the Gators in a Colonial challenge on Wednesday, January 11. The Gators come into the challenge with a record of 7-2. Gateway Regional lost 54-39 in their recent league battle against Haddon Heights (Haddon Heights, NJ)

The Lions (0-6) will now prepare for their battle against Sterling (Somerdale, NJ). The Silver Knights come into the non-league battle with a 7-3 record. In their last battle, Sterling prevailed over Audubon (Audubon, NJ), 43-20, in a league battle.
