Greenon Knights (Springfield, OH) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the host West Jefferson Roughriders (West Jefferson, OH), 50-40 in a league bout.

With the victory, Greenon upgrades its record to 11-2 on the campaign. The Knights host Mechanicsburg (Mechanicsburg, OH) to play the Indians in a Ohio Heritage bout on Wednesday, January 11. The Indians come into the bout with a record of 11-3. Mechanicsburg won 74-25 in their recent league bout against Madison Plains (London, OH)
