The Sheldon Orabs (Sheldon, IA) basketball knocked off the visiting Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn Hawks (Hartley, IA), 53-42 in Monday's league test.
The Orabs (3-7) will now prepare for their test against Hinton (Hinton, IA). The Blackhawks go into the non-league test with a 7-2 record. In their last test, Hinton notched a victory over Kingsley-Pierson (Kingsley, IA), 46-37, in a non-league test.
The Hawks now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to West Bend-Mallard for a non-league test on Thursday, January 12. Hartley-Melvin-Sanborn will encounter a Wolverines squad coming off a 46-34 non-league loss to Emmetsburg (Emmetsburg, IA). The Wolverines record now stands at 4-4.
