Connecticut High School Basketball - Kolbe-Cathedral knocked off by New Milford

The New Milford Green Wave basketball team scored 43 points and held the visiting Kolbe-Cathedral Cougars to 35 in the Green Wave league triumph on Monday.

The Green Wave now sport a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brookfield for a non-league contest on Thursday, January 12. New Milford will battle a Bobcats team coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to Newtown (Newtown, CT). The Bobcats record now stands at 5-4.

The Cougars (6-4) will now prepare for their contest against Bunnell (Stratford, CT). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 2-6 record. In their last contest, Bunnell ran past Harding (Bridgeport, CT), 47-31, in a non-league contest.
