Ohio High School Basketball - Lynchburg-Clay knocked off by Unioto

The Unioto Shermans basketball team scored 78 points and held the host Lynchburg-Clay Mustangs to 59 in the Shermans non-league triumph on Monday.

The Shermans now sport a 14-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Huntington for a Scioto Valley contest on Friday, January 13. Unioto will meet a Huntsmen team coming off a 49-20 league win over Zane Trace (Chillicothe, OH). The Huntsmen record now stands at 8-6.

The Mustangs (7-7) will now prepare for their contest against Whiteoak (Mowrystown, OH). The Wildcats enter the Southern Hills contest with a 9-7 record. In their last contest, Whiteoak was defeated by North Adams (Seaman, OH), 55-22, in a league contest.
